Monique + Declan Ricky’s Wedding New Years Eve celebrations with a luxe fun reception vibe.

Monique and Declan came home to Australia to celebrate their wedding on New Years Eve at Ricky’s Restaurant, with a glamorous, fun and sophisticated floral concept, with a cocktail style reception for 200 guests who all travelled to Noosa to celebrate their love. A riverside ceremony featured next to the restaurant, and we created a luxe floral concept that showcased our large textural ground pots layered with blooms, and an aisle runway of florals, featuing a continuous row of florals lining the aisle. A sophisticated floral concept with a ‘White Summer Bloom’ style was created with a floral story that included lisianthus, dahlia, delphinium, hydrangea, sim carnations, Playa Blanca roses, scabiosa flower, strong lush foliage accents, cottage roses, and camellia, and a pop of Cosmos for an added accent of lemon.

With a cocktail reception for 200+ guests Ricky’s was transformed into a modern lounging and cocktail area, with bars and pop up carts adormed with florals, and individual lounge spaces created with vases of blooms. We loved creating the statement style bar designs, an the sweet cosmos flowers added a touch of fun!  Citrus fruits and scented candles added texture and coastal style, and a large potted orchid feature and grouped vase designs featured on the panelled bars. Rattan baskets created a ‘entrance floral statement’ and layers of white blooms adorned the statement style beginning to this lavish event.
