Grace + Mitch Modern Minimalism at Yandina Station
They say rain on your wedding day is good luck. Grace and Mitch not only had the blessing of mother nature on their wedding day, but the culmination of anticipation.
Despite waiting 24 months, juggling delays, date changes, emotions and disappointments, their wedding day came together perfectly at Yandina Station.
Their wedding style was spectacularly elegant and sophisticated with an undeniable love that shone from the couple, FINALLY getting married surrounded by their loved ones.
Without a doubt, the floral vision was just as epic as the couples journey. Focusing on a modern minimalism bloom story, with a sleek partnership of white’s layered with textural accents including gypsophila and preserved foliage.
Grace’s bouquet was a white on white floral creation with contemporary layers of neutrals, a hint of texture and sophisticated blooms.
Phalaenopsis Orchids and Columbian roses, the primary focal blooms for our modern cloudscapes and ground design.
We created the perfect aisle for Grace to float towards her husband-to-be.
All of a sudden you could see the years of planning and stress melt away from the couple.
They looked in to each others eyes as if no one else was in the room. Smiling and giggling with happiness, they became Husband & Wife.
While we’ve said it before and we will say it again – it is not a Yandina Station wedding without hanging blooms from above!
The reception featured a hanging floral installation, in a breath-taking collaboration of blooms, and cascading Amaranthus.
The long feasting tables were adorned with black matt vases in the reception with cascading orchid blooms and re-flexed roses.
Grace and Mitch’s floral concept of modern romance and botanical beauty surrounded the guests as they celebrated the night with Grace and Mitch, newly Mr & Mrs!
