Clare & John’s Autumn Love Story
It was Clare and John’s wish to have a wedding that focused heavily on family and friends. And, as many of there guests had traveled from afar in order to attend the wedding, the couple remembered the most amazing part of their day was just being able to enjoy the celebration with them. Choosing beautiful Hinterland wedding venue Maleny Manor to host their celebrations, John and Clare’s wish was for a day that was simple and elegant, and with the venue providing manicured gardens, grassy plateaus and a beautiful wedding pavilion with the view of the ocean in the distance, there wasn’t too much else that was needed to create the day of their dreams.
Clare’s English heritage influenced her choice in flowers, and she decided on a styling concept that focused on a neutral base and with the occasional splash of colour. An English summer garden feel with touches of thistle was perfectly captured with flowers that featured David Austin roses, tulips, hyacinth and freesias. A colour palette of cream, ivory, peach, with plenty accents of blue was showcased by beautiful blooms in glass vases on each reception table and chair jars that adorned each aisle chair at the ceremony.
Their ceremony was short with very few formalities, and the guests enjoyed the garden party celebrations afterward, while Clare and John enjoyed a few private moments while having photos taken.
